Ajman Loses to Al-Ain 6-0 in Adnoc Pro League Match

The Al-Ain team secured an important victory against Ajman, winning 6-0, in a match held at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium as part of the third round of the Adnoc Pro League. This victory temporarily places Al-Ain at the top of the table with 9 points, while Ajman remains at just one point.


Al-Ain's goals were scored by Abdulrahman Ahmed (own goal) in the 14th minute, Sofiane Rahimi (2 goals) in the 19th and 44th minutes, Yehia Nader in the 31st minute, Jonathan Santos in the 68th minute, and Kodjo Laba in the 87th minute.


Al-Ain dominated the first half of the match with great coordination between all lines, resulting in four goals by halftime. This marked the third time Al-Ain scored four goals in the first half against Ajman, following previous instances in February 2015 and February 2018.


Ajman made some attempts at offense but didn't find success. The scoring began in the 14th minute with Al-Ain's first goal, an own goal, followed by Sofiane Rahimi's spectacular flying shot in the 19th minute. Yehia Nader extended the lead for the home team with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area in the 31st minute.


Before the end of regular time in the first half, Sofiane Rahimi added his second goal for the team. Al-Ain continued their pressure in the second half, with a standout performance from Ajman's goalkeeper. In the 68th minute, Jonathan Santos scored the fifth goal for the home team with an impressive individual effort. Kodjo Laba wrapped up the comprehensive victory with the sixth goal in the 87th minute.
