Ajman lose to Ittiahd Kalba 3-5

Ajman lost to Ittiahd Kalba by five goals to two in a thrilling match today at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium, as part of the fourth round of the Adnoc Professional League.


This marks Ittihad Kalba biggest away win in the Professional League.


Azaro scored a hat-trick for Ajman in the 5th, 72nd, and 95th minutes. The guests responded with an own goal by Issam Fawaz in the 32nd minute, followed by goals from Andres Fomberge in the 36th, and a brace from Mehdi Ghaedi in the 48th and 59th minutes. Daniel Bessa added another goal in the 49th minute.


Ittihad Kalba now has 4 points, while Ajman remains second to last with only 1 point.


The match started with excitement, with Leandro Lima of Ittihad Kalba taking a free-kick in the penalty area, which Ajman's goalkeeper Youssef Ahmed deflected to a corner.


Ajman took the lead in the 5th minute with Azaro scoring from a rebound after Maboungou entered the box and shot, the ball rebounded off the goalkeeper, and Azaro finished it into the net.


Ittihad Kalba equalized in the 32nd minute, as Habib Al-Fardan received a through pass, and Ajman's defender Issam Faiz tried to clear but accidentally scored an own goal, the third own goal in Ajman's net this season.


Ajman's defender Issam Faiz committed a second mistake in front of his team's defense, allowing the ball to reach Slovenian striker Andres Fomberge, who scored the second goal for his team in the 36th minute.


Before the end of the first half, Mehdi Ghaedi extended his team's lead by adding the third goal in the 45+3 minute, benefiting from a pass from Daniel Bessa.


In the second half, Ittihad Kalba confirmed their dominance by scoring the fourth goal from a penalty, successfully executed by Daniel Bessa in the 49th minute. Mehdi Ghaedi then returned to score his second personal goal and the fifth for his team in the 59th minute, translating a clever pass from Walid Rashid behind the defense.


Azaro reduced the gap for Ajman by scoring his second personal goal in the 72nd minute. The player celebrated a hat-trick by scoring his third goal from a penalty in the 95th minute, before the referee declared the end of the match with Ittihad Kalba winning 5-3.
