Ajman draws 2-2 with Sharjah

Ajman and Sharjah drew 2-2 in a match held at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium as part of the 25th round of the ADNOC Pro League. This result raised Ajman's tally to 32 points and Sharjah's to 39 points.


The match started quickly, with Ajman opening the scoring through Issam Faiz less than a minute into the game. Sharjah responded with an equalizer by Majed Rashid before the end of the second minute. Issam Faiz's goal, scored in 16 seconds, is the fourth fastest in the history of the Pro League, Ajman's fastest ever in the competition, and the fastest goal Sharjah has conceded in the competition's history. This match is also the first in Pro League history to witness two goals scored within the first two minutes.


Sharjah turned the game around with a second goal by Luan Pereira in the 67th minute. Sharjah is the second-highest team to score goals via substitutes (7 goals), following Al Wasl and Shabab Al Ahli (10 goals each). Ajman refused to lose and equalized through Rocky Marciano in the 87th minute. Rocky Marciano has scored his last five goals in the ADNOC Pro League as a substitute.
